Air Quality Testing

As part of the Innovative Learning grant, UNIS purchased 6 Dylos DC1700 Pro air quality sensors. These are hand held particle counters that can fairly accurately read the Air Quality Index.

They were provided for a G11 student working on her Internal Assessment for ESS to conduct individual research.

Some of the challenges encountered were the ways that humidity and temperature affect the conversion of particles parts per million into a standard AQI reading.
