Aurasma Project - Gergana's Presentation - Paul Swanson.mp4

For the unit on travel language, we wanted to have a physical journal to encourage substantive writing as well as video components for speaking. Our solution was to use Aurasma to create augmented reality travel books that combined the best of both.

The students selected countries and locations that they would travel to. Then they both created a physical book with writing and pictures as well as videos of them planning their travels. Some students even filmed themselves in front of a green-screen to simulate actually being in that country. Then the students printed out screenshots of their video, linked those pictures to their videos using Aurasma, and integrated them into their book.
